As far as possible, we give priority to open source solutions in our choice of tools:
- We use Godot to develop our games and are actively involved in promoting it in the French video game ecosystem,
- We use Blender for 3D modelling,
- We use Ink to create our interactive stories,
- We use Material Maker for procedural design.
- We use Git for version control
Our philosophy
We chose open source because we firmly believe in its many benefits: open source encourages collaboration and knowledge sharing, accelerating innovation and continually improving the quality of our tools. By adopting and contributing to open source, we are affirming our belief in a development model based on cooperation, transparency and accessibility. This approach also enables us to adopt total transparency in our development processes.
Open source helps to build a sustainable technological ecosystem that is accessible to all, enabling everyone, regardless of their means, to access creative tools and participate in their development.
Tools for people
We believe tools are a way to facilitate the creative process and provide an enriching working environment for our developers and artists. Tools should always adapt to the people, not the other way round. We take great care in picking the right tools, and re-visiting those choices regularly.
